Cambridge Festival of Ideas

Posted on 17th October 2019

The Cambridge Festival of Ideas takes place between 14th and 27th October and the Ironworks’ artists are getting involved.

Jo Chapman will be part of the ‘Places in Transition Talk’ at Anglia Ruskin University, discussing how the history of a place helps shape an artist’s work, alongside presentations by the artists. The talk is chaired by Dr Harriet Riches, Head of the Art School at Anglia Ruskin University, and other artists taking part are Emma Smith and Dr Veronique Chance.

After the talk, you are invited to take part in a Big Draw walking tour around the Mill Road area, where change, memory and identity will be creatively mapped by participants as part of the national Big Draw programme.
